Law Leaders Lab to help lawyers build better law businesses

June 20, 2014 _ Law Leaders Lab opened its doors this week to help lawyers, law firms and legal services providers develop strategies to strengthen their practices, grow their businesses, and communicate value to clients.

Law Leaders is built on the premise that the traditional law firm business model is not sustainable due to changes in the competitive landscape, technological innovation and the way clients buy legal services. To help lawyers and firms of any size to better respond to market needs, the company has created a discrete set of services, including:

Baker is a journalist, turned lawyer, turned entrepreneur who brings more than 20 years of legal industry experience. An Illinois-licensed attorney, her prior experience includes serving as both Director of Marketing and Director of Business Development for a 700-attorney law firm, as well as Director of Product Marketing for an international legal technology company. She is also an award winning writer whose journalism background includes covering law management and legal ethics for the ABA Journal, the lawyers’ magazine of the American Bar Association. Prior to starting Law Leaders she was formerly principal and chair of the Law Firm Services Group of Legal Vertical Strategies, a marketing and business development consultancy focused on law firms and legal vendors. She is a frequent speaker and presenter on a variety of law firm industry topics.
